I had gutters and gutter helmet installed in APRIL 2013. The rain goes over the gutter, rain pours down the gutter.

Leaves do get stuck between gutter and helmet. They came back 5 times and still the same. I called the company to refund my down payment and take their material off my home. I was told by JANE i will not get any money back and the company was going to put a lien on my home for the balance i owe.

I didn't have this much of a problem with my plain gutters.

So where does the lifetime guarantee come into play.?????? I am unhappy before i paid them the balance.And i don't think i should pay the balance

What a bunch of LIARS!!! On post,"Don't by gutter helmet, it is junk" (review#:430269) as "Brett". Also post,"gutter helmet are ruing my soffits" (review#:436248) as "Dale". And post,"Fraudulent Advertising by Gutter Helmet" (review#:428773) as "Ted".

Sounds like another untrained-flunky at Gutter Helmet is "playing" installer without proper training or license. Don't fall for their scare tactics; they can't put a lien on your home. Dispute the charge with your bank/CC company and talk to your states Attorney Generals Office.

We provide quality, this is what we do, and we are not a fly by night company that is here today and gone tomorrow. In addition to, Gutter Helmet nationwide has installed over 60 million feet since 1981 through its dealership network. If the Gutter Helmet product did not work correctly as intended, Gutter Helmet would no longer be in existence. Looking at your history, we entered into a binding agreement this past March and we have had a series of visits to your home as you described, as well as had our local area manager visit your home to inspect your system recently. You indicated at first you did not want us to come out after the installation and then changed your mind this past July, therefore on 7/23 we were last out to correct your overflow issue in the front of the house over the doorway where the little porch is. Moreover, you reported a second overflow problem near the drainpipe at the other end of the house, right side, front which we corrected. We have done everything we have said we would do from an installation and warranty/service perspective regarding your system, all the while your account with us is more than 90 days past due. We can and will help you with your system but please understand that we have costs as well including materials, trucks, local area employees, etc.

In conclusion, please expect another call from our local area manager to check in to make sure everything is working fine after our last visit. We understand your frustration but we are here to help you and do take ownership of our products and workmanship.

well i got to see the frozen icicles other people had a problem with. It rained yesterday and quess what???????????.

I now have icicles. I guess no one told the rain to go into the gutters!!!! And as for that person who stated i am not suing because i can't. I am now dealing with the FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION.

Also i have friends who have young children who play around the outside of where the icicles are hanging.

Are you willing to put in writing if there is ever a incident you will claim 100% responsibility??????????????????????????????

Thanks for the info. I am cancelling my appointment, and will go with a different company for my new gutters!
